陳心兒的創作常以新媒體混合傳統媒介, 當中以動態影像及陶瓷們則作為首。陳氏熱衷於收集周遭人、事及物的歷史故事,以此作為其創作靈感, 並用自身的藝術語言把它們重新紀錄。她一直深信透過重新記錄,不但能夠了解人文史事。 更能以此喚起思考的過程及反省自身的經歷。

Chan creation forces on combining new media and traditional medium in which ceramics and moving image are her prior methodologies. She is enthusiastic about collecting stories of her surrounding people, place, and objects, which frequently inspire and recorded by her art own language. Shen believed recording history can not only learn from the preceding humanities, but also arouse thinking and introspect one's experience.
